Visitors to The New Deanery share their impressions

At The New Deanery in Bocking our service is based on the wants, needs and preferences of people who live at our care home near Braintree.

The whole team strives to be the best and we actively encourage our residents to provide feedback. Throughout the home there are suggestion boxes to allow people to submit ideas anonymously. Alternatively our directors are on site several days a week and have an open door policy, so if anyone has any suggestions there is always someone to speak to.

Always striving to improve

We operate a cycle of continuous improvement and each month we hold a resident forum to discuss menu options and trips residents would like to go on. We also invite residents and families to our regular quality meetings to tell us about their experience of living at, and visiting, The New Deanery.

Our annual survey

Once a year we have a formal anonymous survey for our residents and their relatives, which we have found to be extremely successful in allowing us to understand what people think about The New Deanery. We always share the overall results of the survey, along with any improvements we are making as a result of what people have told us.
