You’ll feel at home right away in our comfortable, historic house set in 6.5-acres of gardens and woodland. The New Deanery has been a family home for hundreds of years, and we love our warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Every resident has their own room with en-suite facilities, and can bring their own furniture to make it really feel like home. The whole house is maintained beautifully by our award-winning Head of Housekeeping Ieva Bagurske, and her team.
The New Deanery is a very special house, it is Grade II listed with wonderful communal areas including the Bistro, which is a real hub of the home, for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Residents all have use of our beautiful Tudor Banqueting Suite to celebrate special occasions with friends and families. If you are hosting a celebration, or if you have friends and family to visit, food and drink can be provided by our award-winning team as part of our all-inclusive packages.
We’re lucky to have 10-acres of beautiful gardens and woodland around our home, with patios, a croquet lawn, potager, chickens, and a barbecue which we use throughout the summer for activities, plus there is a children’s play area so residents and their guests can enjoy being outside.
Our estate is in its own secure grounds, but of course residents may come and go as they wish – we truly aspire to being the best residential care home in Bocking, Braintree, and the whole of Essex.
